Mike was born in Eubank, Kentucky on November 19th, 1964, son of Emma M. Rutherford Wilson and the late Harry C. Wilson. He was an employee for Glen Oakes. He loved farming, his horses, and his family.
He was survived by his mother, Emma Wilson; his wife, Lisa Sutton Wilson; one son, Michael (and Kim) Wilson; one daughter, Cherel (and Shannon) Gibson; two step-children, Conner Pendleton and Carolyn Pendleton; three brothers, Roy (and Pam) Wilson, Ray Wilson, and Charlie Wilson; two sisters, Marie (and Robert) New and Agnes (and Marvin) Wesley; six grandchildren, Noah Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Emily Wilson, Brennon Gibson, Kadence Pendleton, and Joshua Ray Pendleton; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Nancy Bell Wilson.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating.
Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
