PALM CITY - Michael Romeo, 58, of Palm City died Sunday, Feb. 25, 1996, at home.

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Palm City for six years.

Before retirement, he was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.

He was a member of the C.L.U., and the Mill Basin Civic Association, Brooklyn, N.Y.

He was predeceased by a sister, Rose Steinborn.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores Romeo of Palm City; a sister, Janet Patanjo of Pensacola; a brother, Joseph Romeo of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart. A vigil service will be at 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
