She died in a local hospital early Monday, after a lengthy illness.
Services were held at 2 p.m. in the Coax Baptist Church near here, with the Reverend Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in Coax Cemetery, under direction of First National Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, E. B. Turnage, Baskin; one daughter, Miss Sara Turnage, Baskin; two step-sons, W. D. Turnage, Baskin and Leonard Turnage, Little Rock, Ark.; three brothers, Lee Weems, Winnsboro, Charlie Weems, Houston, Tex.; F. J. (Burt) Weems, Lake City, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Humphreys, and Mrs. Velma [sic Thelma] Coston, both of Winnsboro and Mrs. Alma Brown, Baskin.
