She was born July 18, 1930 to Wilson and Odessie (McGraw) Clawson in Robert Lee, Texas.
Chris grew up in Robert Lee, Texas and graduated from Robert Lee Schools. She moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma and in 1974 moved to Tribbey, Oklahoma and lived there until 2014 when she moved to Oklahoma City where she resided until her passing.
She married James "K.P." Stewart on April 11, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2006.
Chris was a devoted homemaker and stayed busy raising her family.
She enjoyed playing bump swings as a child. Her favorite thing to do was crochet and she enjoyed quilting and making crafts for the Tribbey Fire Department. She worked as an election worker for the Pottawatomie County Election Board and was a member of the Homemakers Club of Tribbey.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Derral Stewart; 5 siblings, Wilson Frank Jr., Johnny, Betty, Roy and Virginia.
Survivors include daughters, Cherri Munoz and Carlos of Daytona Beach, FL and Vonnie Stewart and Mike of Nichols Hills, OK; son, Roger Stewart and Kay of Bethany, OK; grandsons, Daniel Munoz, Lucas Whited and Tiffani Cox, Steven Stewart and Anthony Stewart; great-granddaughter, Madison Whited; daughter-in-law, Lourdes Stewart; sister, Mary Jo Storie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 28, 2021 at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
