Edna was born an hermaphrodite according to the stories of those who grew up with her. She was raised as a girl when little and they remember she had long blonde hair. Then when she grew older, they began to call her Teddy. She was small in stature and wore a ball cap a lot of the time. She was friendly and would sit and wave to all the travelers who passed her.
