AVIATOR DROPS FLOWERS ON DEAD COMRADE’S GRAVE
-----
During the burial services of Corporal Arthur B. Stritzelberger at Riverview cemetery last Friday, Corporal Ralph Richardson piloted an airplane over the cemetery and showered flowers on the grave.

Corporal Stritzelberger, who was 27 years old, was accidentally electrocuted at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds last Tuesday, and his body brought to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stritzelberger, 1002 Kirkwood street, for burial. Corporal Richardson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Richardson, 518 South Franklin street, is 18 years old, and Thursday’s flight was his second attempt at navigating the air.

The body of the dead aviator was accompanied to the grave in Riverview cemetery by a firing squad from the two Hundred and Seventy-first Aero Squadron, in which he was a corporal. He was buried with full military honors, six members of the aero squadron acting as pallbearers. He leaves no family, but is survived by his parents and one sister.
