JOSEPH H. JONES of 819 Jackson street died at 4:30 o'clock Saturday morning at Asbury Park, N. J., where he had gone to recuperate, his health having failed. Mr. Jones had not been well for some time and three weeks ago he went to Asbury Park and began to show improvement, but he suffered a relapse on Monday from which he never rallied.
Mr. Jones had been connected with the Artisans Savings Bank as bookkeeper for the past 16 years and he was well and favorably known. Mrs. Jones, formerly Miss Martha F. Pickels, daughter of Henry F. Pickels, and three sons survive. The sons are George P. Jones of Youngstown, O.; Pusey Jones of Boston, Mass. and Joseph H. Jones, Jr., a student at Delaware College.
