Surviving are his wife, a son, Harold, and stepson, George Frederick, of the city; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Beck of Adamstown and Miss Clara, at home; 14 grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Smith of Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. Wilmer Steffy of Lancaster and Mrs. Martha Neff of the city.
He retired as a boilermaker helper from the Altoona Works in 1954.
