Beulah Riggs, age 91, of Russellville, died Sunday, November 5, 2006 at Saint MaryÂ's Regional Medical Center. A daughter of the late Edward E. and Pearl Brown Bennett, she was born December 15, 1914 in Russellville. She was a former nursesÂ' aide, and attended Flat Rock Assembly of God Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rial Riggs; and her brothers and sisters: Homer Bennett, Ruby Young, Lorene Viney and Ernest Bennett. Survivors include several nephews and nieces, including Jimmy Young of Russellville; Al and Flora Mears of Okeechobee, Florida; Gary and Myrtle Young of Conway; Sam Young of London; Ronnie and Brenda Birge of Russellville; Roy Young of Pensacola, Florida; Glen and Debbie Young of Atkins; and Tommy and Connie Wheeler of Brandywine, Maryland.
The funeral service will be conducted by Shinn Funeral Service at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by Rev. William Phelps and Rev. Jerry Schlinker. Burial will be in East Point Cemetery near Russellville.
Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Young, Al Mears, Gary Young, Sam Young, Michael Young and Glen Young.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
