Loulie Daniel Perkins, 95, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Evans Memorial Hospital. She was a native of and lived most of her life in Evans County. She was a member of Bay Branch Primitive Baptist Church. She was co-owner and operator of Perkins Jewelers with her husband (now deceased), J. Lawson Perkins, until her retirement.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Bobby Kennedy of Claxton; two granddaughters (and their husbands), Diane and Tommy Lynn and Lu and Allen Durrence, all of Claxton; four great-grandchildren: Daniel and Ashley Lynn and Andrew and Allison Durrence; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, beginning at 6 p.m. until at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 2, at Bay Branch Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bay Branch Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Allen Durrence and Tommy Lynn; and John Daniel, Hub Daniel, Bennie Wilkerson, and Jim Daniel.
Honorary pallbearers are Deacons and nephews.
