Carma Hendricks Comish, 77, died on Thursday, December 28, 1989 at her home.


She was born April 9, 1912 in Lewiston, Utah, a daughter of Willard and Lena Belle Allred Hendricks. She married Henry Bowcut Comish on May 6, 1931 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died on June 12, 1979. She was raised in Lewiston and attended school there. She graduated from North Cache High School and later attended business school in Salt Lake City.*pShe was an avid gardener, dedicated mother, loved to make quilts and enjoyed creative writing and recording family histories. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many auxiliaries.


Survivors include two sons and three daughters and husbands, Mrs. Karma Jean and Ronald Nelson, Bremerton, Wash; N. Denis Comish, Richland, Wash; Mrs. Ila and Joel Miller, Cove; Joseph N. and Carroll Comish, Lewiston; Mrs. Louise and Clarence S. Clark, Hooper, 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Larna Brown, Coquille, Oregon; Alice Williams, Lewiston. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters.


Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Cove Ward Chapel with Bishop Melvin G. Sadler conducting. Friends may call at the Church on Tuesday evening from 7-9 pm and on Wednesday from 11:30 - 12:30 pm.
Interment will be in the Franklin, Idaho City Cemetery.
