Selma Mae Norton Muncher, 62, of the 1400 block of Nixonton Road, a homemaker, died Nov. 7, 1994, in Albemarle Hospital.

Mrs. Muncher was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a Baptist. She was the widow of James Leon Muncher and daughter of the late Mattie Rhodes Norton and Lynn Norton.

Survivors include four daughters, Regina Moser of Elizabeth City, Brenda Spruill of Chesapeake, Vivian Sinclair of Miami and Alicia Lees of Stafford, Va.; three sons, Dean Muncher of Virginia Beach, Lynn Muncher of Washington state and Glenn Harrison of Chesapeake; a sister, Mary Lynn Everett of Los Angeles; three brothers, Harry Norton and Jimmy Norton, both of Chesapeake, and Gary Norton of Hampton; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Hollywood Cemetery by the Rev. William Rembert. Twiford's Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
