Messages conveying the information that A. Maxwell Wilson, Sr., formerly a resident of this city, died at Lacoochee, where he had been making his home with his eldest son, on Tuesday, January 13, after an illness of many years. He was taken ill before leaving this city, and since his departure has steadily grown weaker.
Funeral services were held in the Methodist church at Dade City, and interment was had at the cemetery at that place. The rites were largely attended and the floral offerings very profuse.
Deceased had a large circle of friends in this city and county, and established the same cordial relations with the residents of Lacoochee and the surrounding country, where many of the remaining members of the family now reside.
Mr. Wilson's last residence in this county was at East Palatka. (Times-Herald Obituary dtd Friday, 30 Jan 1925.)
