William J. "Bill" Carroll of Wilmington, age 58, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 8, 2002 surrounded by his family at the Christiana Hospital.
Bill was a machine operator in the plastics fabrication industry for over 25years. He worked for the James River and Crown Zellerback Corporations of New Castle. He enjoyed target shooting and was member of the National Rifle Association for many years.
Bill was a son of the late Thomas J., Sr. and Mary Julia Carroll. He was a devoted and loved brother of Jane M. Boulden of Newark, Anne M. Figgs and her husband Christopher of Newark, and Thomas J. Carroll, Jr. of Middletown. He will be dearly missed by his many beloved nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at the St. Elizabeth's RC Church, Oak and S. Clayton Sts., Wilmington on Thursday morning, February 14, 2002 at 10 am. Friends may call at the Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy. on Wednesday evening, February 13 from 6-8 pm. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Wilmington.
