Mr. Bitner went to be with his Lord Saturday morning, October 25, 2008, at a local hospital.
He was born January 3, 1933, in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania. He was retired from Rockwell International as a facility manager and was a member of Alpine Presbyterian Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife LaVerne; daughters, Barbara Ann Milne and husband, Greg, of Lompoc, Calif., and Nancy Jean Jansson and husband, Paul, of LaMirada, Calif.; sons, Kenneth Lee Bitner and wife, Julie, of Powhatan, Va., and Christopher Robert Bitner and wife, Joyce, of Wellington, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Catherine Symons of New Tripoli, Pa.
