John died at a Topeka Hospital. He was the son of Lindsay Vance and Emma (Mullinix) Keller. He graduated from Delia High School in 1939 and served in the US Navy during World War II. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Topeka for 31 years, retiring in 1985. He married Bonnie G. Groff on December 17, 1945. Survivors include his wife, his children. Sue Mulanax, Lindsey Keller, and Michael Keller, his sisters, Wanda Parr, Naomi Sumner, Geneva Fairbanks, 9 grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were held at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial was in Delia Cemetery, where military graveside services were conducted.
