Wayne Woodrow Lorimor - Pueblo Chieftain - January 18, 2009 - Wayne Woodrow Lorimor, 93, born to Wayne E. and Namcy Ann Lorimor in Nepesta, Colo., on Dec. 21, 1915, passed away on Jan. 13, 2009. Wayne attended the "old" Centennial High School in Pueblo, graduating in 1934. He lived in the Pueblo area since 1921, except for a period of about three years he spent serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. Wayne was employed at Midwest Steel Corp. in Pueblo, retiring in 1978. He is survived by a grandson, William; and his sister, Marjorie Kennedy of Middletown, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel; his son, Billy; two brothers, Charles and Richard; and two sisters, Thelma L. Stiles and Alice Herman. Wayne was a true believer in Jesus Christ and has gone to be with the Lord. Viewing, noon to 4 p.m. today, and funeral service. 10 a.m. Monday, Adrian Comer Garden Chapel. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery. Military honors by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the National Diabetes Association or to the arthritis or heart funds through the funeral home office.
