LANCASTER, Calif. Shirley Mae Schaffner Adams, 76, of Rosamond, Calif., died Feb. 6, 2001, while surrounded and supported by her loving family. She was born March 12, 1924, in Alexander, Idaho, a daughter of Lulu George and Myrtle Forsberg Schaffner. She grew up in Logan, later relocating to California. She married Arthur M. Adams. She leaves a legacy of having been a loving wife and mother, a successful business woman and a woman known for her heart of gold. She was a member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur M. Adams; two sons, Scott Adams and Arthur Adams; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
