Joab Underwood's farm about three miles southwest of Bessville, was the scene of a accident on the 29th of last moth, which resulted in the death of Mr. A.A. Sitzes. It seems that Mr. Sitzes was driving his wagon home from a wheat threshing with a load of straw, and while going down a slight grade his team became frightened and ran away, striking a stump which threw him from the wagon in such a way as to break his neck, killing him instantly. Mr. Sitzes was a member of the M.E. Church (South), and also a member of the F.&L.U. under the auspices of which he was buried in Union Camp Ground Cemetery July 30th. Mr. Sitzes leaves a wife and two children, together with a host of friends, to mourn his death.
