Lexa Clifford "Georgia" (Eoff) Green was the daughter of Samuel Gethro Ewing Eoff and Augusta Rowland, natives of Arkansas. Lexa was the fifth born of eight children: Stella (Eoff) Rose, Hugh Eoff, Harriet (Eoff) King, Anna Hickerson (Eoff) Kimball, Lexa, Elvira Lucille (Eoff) McCeachern, Samuel Guy Eoff and Eula Orpha June (Eoff) (Ducote) Rippetoe. The family moved from Boone County, Arkansas to farm in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma Territory before 1900.

Lexa "Georgia" married Jesse David Green, the son of James C and Zadie Green, natives respectively of Missouri and Arkansas. Jesse and Lexa were married August 1, 1911 in Maud, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. They were the parents of Barney Gordon Green and James Christopher Green.
Jesse was a bookkeeper and bank president.
