Born in Dooly County, he was the son of the late John Erastus Barron and Sibbie Lasseter Barron. He was a US Navy veteran and a member of Cross Point Baptist Church. Mr. Barron retired from Blue Bird where he was a Tool & Dye Maker. He was a loving husband and father whose true joy was his 12 grandchildren.
