Henry Langworthy -1920

Henry M. Langworthy, age 84 years and 21 days, father of Mrs. John Baumann, died at his home north of bagley in the town of Holst on Saturday last after having an illness lasting four days.
The deceased was born in New York state on April 10, 1836 and was married to Miss Elvisa Hapch December 21, 1856, together they moved to Dodge Center, Minnesota where they resided until 1901 when they moved to Northern Minnesota with their daughter, Mrs. John Baumann and husband and settled on a farm eight miles north of Bagley.
Mr. Langworthy was one of the early pioneers to Dodge Center community and is a civil war veteran, serving with Comapnay L, Minnesota Heavy Artillary. He is another of the cicil war veterans to pass on.
Besides his wife, his brother, Edward of Dodge Center, he leaves three children to mourn his loss, including Mrs. John Baumann, also an adopted daughter and many relatives and friends.
The pallbearers were: Alec Halvorson, Emil Anderson, Lewis Stansing, Robert Anderson, Carl Norton and Severt Dahl. Frank Edgar carried the colors. All of these young men are veterans of the late world war.
The remains were laid to rest in the local cemetery. the vereaved ones have the heartfelt sympathy of the people of this community.
