Lawrence Johnson 1894-1967
Lawrence H. Johnson, 73, of rural Bagley, died at the Bagley Hospital August 12 where he had been a patient three weeks.
Born in Murray County, Minnesota, May 11, 1894 he came to Clearwater County with his parents, Peter and Aletta Johnson at an early age and had lived here since. He was married to Goldie Thayer at Bagley on April 4, 1934.
Survivors include his widow; four sons, Clifford, Archie and Ernest of Great Falls, Montana; and Donald of Bagley; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Fox, Bagley and Marlys Johnson, Minneapolis; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Harry of Bagley and Elton of Bemidji; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Meyer (Ella) of Boring, Oregon; Mrs. Winsor Benson (Annie) and Mrs. Hazel Lundell of Bagley. He was predeceased by a daughter.
Funeral services were held at the Cease Chapel in Bagley Wednesday. The Rev. Milan C. Davig officiated with burial in the Bagley City Cemetery.
