Her husband died at the age of about 22 of an appendicitis. Sometime in the late 1920's, She and a man called Reeves loaded 2 wagons and headed toward Oregon. Reeves left her in Bend, Oregon and kept going to California with his children. She married again (Cartright) and had a son, Charles Cartright. She was in California when she had a heart attack and passed away at an early age of 64. She was buried in Bend Oregon.
