Mrs. Delilah Ann Thompson, 84, stricken Early Today
Mrs. Delilah Ann Thompson, 84, widow of the late Alonzo Thompson, who until a year ago had been a resident of Convoy, died at 4 A.M. today at the home of her son, Harley Thompson, in Paulding County: with whom she had been making her home. She had been ill of heart aliment for the past three months. Mrs. Thompson was born March 21, 1862 in Allen County. She was a member of the Fairview United Brethren Church in Paulding County where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 P.M., conducted by Rev. Perkins, pastor. Burial will be in Convoy, IOOF cemetery. The body has been removed from the Hertz Funeral Home at Convoy to the home of her son in Paulding County, where friends may call. Mrs. Thompson is survived by two sons, Harley and Lester, the latter of Tully Township; three daughters, Mrs Roy Adams of Paulding County, Mrs Fred Cress of Harrison Township and Mrs. Noel Black of Decatur, Ind; two brothers, Joseph Yoakam of Lima and Charles Yoakam of Traverse, O.; 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
