ARDMORE, Ok -- Graveside services for Julius Joe Mule Jr , 30, will be 2 p.m. Monday at McAlister Cemetery (Overbrook, Ok.?) with the Rev. Steve Wall officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin-Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore.

Born Feb. 10, 1977, at Ardmore to Suzanne Mule, he died Sept. 27, 2007 at Ardmore.

Joe was extremely proud of his Native American heritage. He graduated from Sequoyah Indian School (Class of 1997) at Tahlequah, where he was an All-State athlete in football. He enjoyed being with his friends and family, and also teasing his nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much.

Survivors include his mother, Suzanne Mule, Ardmore; three brothers, Jay Mule, Ardmore, David Hotulke, Tulsa, and Darren Hotulke, Tulsa; two sisters, Barrie Alverez, Tulsa, and Cherie Hornell, Ardmore; a great-aunt, Celia Martin, Ardmore; five nephews and five nieces; and his girlfriend, Michelle Berry, Ardmore.

Bearers are Jade John, Stanley John, Toby John, Rodney Johnson, Shannon Johnson, Steven Mose and Alfred B. Jr. Honorary bearers are "Bug Eye," "Weed," Jerry Wallace, Elana Marris and Rick Christie.
