Ms. Minnie V. Corbitt, 71, died suddenly Saturday (October 25, 2008) at Satilla Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Manor and had lived most of her life in Ware County. She was daughter of the late Harvey W. Corbitt and Maggie Minchew Corbitt.

She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and was an employee of Rouse's Grocery. She was a member of Kettle Creek Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Alice Young of Manor; two brothers, Rev. W. D. Corbitt of Homerville, Milton Corbitt of Cocoa, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (October 28, 2008) Victory Methodist Church. Burial will be in Victory Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Monday night from 6 until 8.
