DEATH CLAIMS MRS. BERRYMAN

Mrs. Octavia Masterson Berryman, aged 73, of Town Creek, died this morning at 4'oclock at her residence, after an illness of several years.

Mrs. Berryman was born in Lawrence county and has lived there all her life. She had been a resident of Town Creek for the past 24 years. She was the widow of the late William A. Berryman. Mrs. Berryman was a member of the First Baptist church of Town Creek, and a member of the Order of Eastern Stars.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. W.S. Blackburn of Tuscumbia, Mrs. Harold McPeters, of Florence, Mrs. B. C . Williams of Jackson, Tenn., Mrs. John Dameron, of Tallahassee, Fla., and Mrs. Charlie Kullman, of Birmingham; four sons, W.C. Berryman, of Landersville, Crawford, Robert R. and Abner E. Berryman, all of Town Creek; one sister, Mrs. Cliff Crowe, of Jasper; four brothers, William Masterson of Fort Worth, Tex., Robert Masterson, of Brovo, Utah, Paul Masterson, of Helena, Ark., and Eugene Masterson of Florence.

The funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Baptist church, of Town Creek, with Rev. L.T. McDougal, pastor of the First Baptist church, of Town Creek, officiating, assisted by Rev. C.O. Mays, of the First Methodist church, of Town Creek. Burial will follow in the Masterson cemetery, with Brown-Service, of Tuscumbia, in charge.

Pallbearers will be Bud Etheridge, Reginald Brackin, Leon Norwood, Gunter McCoullough, O.N. West, and R.B. Key.

The body will be at the residence until time for the funeral.
