Mrs Reed dead at 86
Mrs. Estella R. Reed, 86, 422 E. Maple St., Bremen, died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, in the Bremen Community Hospital after an illness of two months.
Born in Bremen Jan. 23, 1885, she was married March 5, 1902 to Edward Reed, who died April 28, 1953. Mrs. Reed was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bremen.
Surviving are four children: Everett of Bremen, Mrs. Fred(Letha) Randt of St. Petersburg, FLa., Mrs. Lester (Gertrude) Zellmer; Elkhart, and Mrs. Merl (Eleanor) Zumbaugh, Warsaw; two brothers, William E. Deisch, Eddyville, Ore./ and Burt A. Deisch, St. Petersburg, FLa; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grand-children; and 8 great-great-grand-children.
Services were conducted last Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev Kenneth Wilhite, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Bremen Cemetery.
