Nancy Anna Smillie, 62, wife of Alexander Smillie, Mt Pleasant MI, died at the family residence early Saturday morning, April 26, 1952. Mrs. Smillie had been ill for four years. She was born Oct. 6, 1889, in Logan County OH and had resided in Mt Pleasant MI for 39 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mt Pleasant MI. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, at 2 p.m. from the Stinson Funeral home with Dr. Charles W. Mackenzie officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant MI. Surviving is her husband; sons, John and Alfred of Mt. Pleasant MI; a daughter Mrs. Lawrence (Elizabeth) Robert of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Kearney Bushong of Marshall MI, and 13 grandchildren.
