Mrs. Freer was born February 18, 1935 in Rye. She was married November 14, 1953 to her husband of 54 years, James E. Freer. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Adams and Frances Jewell Brown Adams; one son, Don Freer; one brother, Doy Adams.
Mrs. Freer is survived by her husband, James Edward Freer; three daughters, Sharon (Jon) Bloomberg of Cabot, Janie (Pat) Gibson III of Rye, Tammy (Chris) Taylor of Bryant; seven grandchildren, Eric and Seth Bloomberg, Rachel Galbraith, Marley Lawson, Jessica, Jake, and Emma Taylor, six step-grandchildren.
