Robert's First Sergeant in Co "A" 8th Regt was Wm M. Holt from Cecil County, Md., age 23 years old. This was found to be Robert's brother who is also buried in Hampton National Cemetery Plot: Section C Site 8535. Also noted in this same company was a 2LT A. W. Shaw. This was found out to be Aaron W. Shaw brother to Robert's wife, Sallie S. Shaw.
