ATHENS - Graveside services for Benton Ray Aldridge, 73, Athens, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday at Oaklawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Gene Bishop officiating under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.
Mr. Aldridge died Oct. 23, 2008, in Athens.
He was born Sept. 15, 1935, in Randolph to Jasper Benton Aldridge and the late Mildred Edith Hance Aldridge. He had been a resident of Athens since 1974 and was a retired self-employed automobile paint and body repairman. Mr. Aldridge was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Charlene Aldridge, Athens; daughters, Rhonda Kay Caves, Gun Barrel City, and Sharon Gayle Hart, Athens; father, Jasper B. Aldridge, Athens; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
