Mrs. Katharine Stauffer, of Walkersville, died Saturday, March 10, 1984 at the Homewood Retirement Center, Frederick Maryland. She was born April 20, 1894 in Walkersville to the late David and Minnie Hedges Cramer. Mrs. Stauffer was the widow of Robert Ward Staufter, who died April 13, 1975. Katharine's son, John David Stauffer, died July 10, 1996 and her daughter, Nancy Stauffer Anderson, died January 8, 2015. Her youngest grandson, Chris D. Stauffer died August 28, 2002. Katharine is survived by two grand-daughters, 1 grandson and several great-grandchildren. Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, Maryland.
