MILDRED FRANCES "MILLY" LUNZMAN was born October 5, 1920 in Banks, Oregon, the daughter of the late Fay Frederick Mead and Mary Christine (Hoier) Mead. She was raised and received her education in the Banks Community, having been a graduate of the Banks High
School Class of 1938. Following her high school graduation, she had worked as C.N.A. at the Forest Grove community Hospital. She later worked for the Paper Mill in Camas, Washington, where she met her future husband, "Woody".
She was united in marriage to Woodrow Donald "Woody" Lunzman on September 6, 1942 in the Zion Lutheran Church in Camas, Washington. Following their marriage they made their home in the Camas community. Following "Woody's" discharge, they moved to Oregon, settling in the Lebanon area. In 1952, they moved to the Manning community, when they purchased the Manning General Store, which they owned and operated until
1963. They later owned and operated the Country Village Market and Chevron Service Station in Manning, Oregon, until the mid 1970's, when they retired.

"Milly" was preceded in death by her husband, "Woody", on January 19, 2007 after celebrating over sixty-four years of marriage together.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church. Among her special interests, she enjoyed caring for her flowers, making baby quilts, and camping. "Milly" also had a special love for her family, especially her grandchildren.

"Milly" was preceded in death by her parents, by her son, Donald Lunzman in 2001 and her three brothers, Ervin Mead, Merrill Mead and David Mead.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara J. Berini, of Buxton, Oregon and her son and daughter-in-law, Richard P. and "Rick" and Randi Lunzman, of Banks, Oregon.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren and their spouses, Robert and Kris Fagin, of St. Helens, Oregon; Eric and Shannon Fagin, of Henderson, Nevada; Christina and Duane Burgess, of Timber, Oregon; Elizabeth McKenzie, of Beaverton, Oregon; Jennifer Lunzman, of Beaverton, Oregon; Nick and Amanda Lunzman, of Farmington Hills, Michigan; Casey Lunzman, of Seaside, Oregon; and Andy Lunzman, of Seaside, Oregon; seven great-grandchildren, Kyle Schillereff, Jeremy Schillereff and Skyler Schillereff; Josh McKenzie, Taylor McKenzie, Hannah Parry, Gabriel Burgess, her great-great-grandson, Joey Feakin,
and her special caregiver, Lonnie Evey, of Manning, Oregon.

The family suggests that remembrances may be contributions to the Charity of ones choice, in her memory.
