Paul Duerksen, 66, of rural Hillsboro died Sept. 16 at the Halstead Hospital. Services were held Sept. 20 at the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, Goessel, with C. Nevin Miller in charge. He was married in 1947 to Selma Schmidt and they have lived on a farm in rural Hillsboro ever since. She survives, as do six brothers, Jacob of Washington, D. C., George and Ernest of Goessel, Adolph and August of rural Hillsboro, and Alvin of Newton; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Thiessen and Mrs. Margaret Buller of Goessel, Mrs. Agnes Unruh of Phoenix, Ariz. and Elsie (Mrs. Anton) Schmidt of rural Hillsboro.
