Joseph was the son of Robert Drew and Lydia-(Bliss)Drew. Probably born in Darke Co. Ohio. He married first Elizabeth Bitner and second Sarah Jane Hanks (cousin of Abraham Lincoln). Divorced Elizabeth in 1861 -grounds adultry. Interesting story. Joseph and Sarah had five children.He died of internal injuries due to a fall from his horse.

Laura Belle, Harvey, Linnie "Nora", Susan, Lou Alice.

His last child was my g-grandmother and she was born soon after his death never knowing her father.
