HARRISBURG - Lillian Virginia Wilson, 82, a longtime Lebanon resident now of Harrisburg, died Thursday at home.
She was born in Portland to George and Mary (Bodak) Bates. She lived in many areas in Oregon and Southern Washington during childhood.
She married Lawrence F. Wilson Feb. 17, 1942, in Bay City. They moved to Lebanon in the mid-1940s. Mr. Wilson died July 22, 1982, and Mrs. Wilson moved to Harrisburg in 1996.
She enjoyed needlework, reading and working crossword puzzles, and especially liked flowers and birds.
Viewing will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Huston-Jost Funeral Home. A graveside service for Mrs. Wilson will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery, with Pastor Mitch Bourgeois officiating.
