William E. " Boo" Campbell, 79, of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at a Murfreesboro hospital. He was born July 23, 1929, at Pisgah, AR, the son of the late Daniel and Maud Gentry Campbell.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and Asbestos Workers Local 22.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters, and one daughter-in-law.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Campbell of Murfreesboro, AR; three sons, Jimmy Campbell and wife, Cheryl, of Murfreesboro, AR, Vic Alan Campbell of Murfreesboro, AR and William Lewis Campbell of Murfreesboro, AR; four sisters, Eugenia Cano of League City, TX, Anita Thomas and husband, Alan, of Galveston, TX, Rita Hobbs and husband, Robert, of Houston, TX and Tammy Pues and husband, Manuel of Houston, TX; one foster daughter, Vicki San Angelo of Quincy, IL; twenty-three grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; a number of nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 24, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Steve Kelley officiating, burial in Campbell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, October 23, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
