Alarico Clark Armijo, our loving father, husband, brother, grand-father and friend, left us peacefully at his home on October 22, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. He held our hands, and he shed his last tear.


He was born in Questa, New Mexico to Juan and Seimona Armijo. Clark fought in World War II, he was recognized for being a hero for saving his troop in the 43rd Division; it was published in the Laramie Boomarang Paper. He also received a Purple Heart, he was a disabled Veteran.


He is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Tapia Armijo, they were married for 62 years. He is also survived by his son, Floyd (Larina) Armijo; daughters, Linda (Charles) Montoya, Margarett (Martin) Buchwald, Rosemary Armijo (Mike), and Kathy (Mario) Montoya; daughter-in-law, Sharon Armijo; son-in-law, Hendry Martinez; five brothers; three sisters; 23 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Porfirio (Pete) Armijo; son, Clark Armijo Jr.; daughter, Francis Martinez; grandson, Rico Montoya and many more loving family members. He will be truly loved and truly missed by many. Go with God, wait for us Daddy, you will be in our hearts Forever


Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 2 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church; with a Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. A visitation will also be held on Monday at 12:45 p.m. prior to the services.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
