Son of Adam and Abigail Mott Rhodes.

Married December 6th, 1798, at Allegany County, Maryland

Ebenezer Rhodes, Sr., was ordained in 1819 by the Regular Baptist Church. Soon, he was converted, influenced by Alexander Campbell, and formed the Blooming Grove Christian Church in 1824. He was instrumental in the organization of the Lytleville, Randolph Township Christian Church in the 1930's.
