He is survived by his wife, the former Ida Milton; four sons, Elliott Watson, Roy Watson and Boyd Watson, all of Walker, and Clyde Watson of Denham Springs; four daughters, Mrs. Wilma Graham, Mrs. Thelma Watson, Mrs. Marion Smith and Mrs. Myra Brock, all of Walker; two brothers, S. T. Watson and Pete Watson, both of Walker; 25 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was a member of a pioneer Livingston Parish family. The family settled around Port Vincent in 1795. He was a brother of the late Dr. J. W. Watson, East Baton Rouge Parish coroner.
