Paul Mendenhall, 87 of Elryia died at Center Ridge Nursing Hom, North Ridgeville.
He was born in Pennsville. He graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in education in 1929 and from Penn State with a master's in education in 1935
He taught industrial arts for 36 years. From 1929-1935, he taught in North Ridgeville, and from 1935-1965, he taught at Emerson Jr. High School in Lakewood.
He is survived by two daughters, Lois Donnelly, Elyria, and Louise Hutchison, Quakertown, PA five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel L in 1992 and sisters Alice Douglas and Grace Mendenhall.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Center Ridge Nursing Home activity fund.
