RICHARD EASTER
Osceola, Iowa
RICHARD "DICK" EASTER, 83, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008.
DICK was born August 30, 1925 to Delmar EASTER and Eva Fern ROSS.
DICK met his wife Evelyn LINT and married her on November 6, 1944.
Together they had three children: Rick, Janice and Kathe.
DICK served in WWII in the UNITED STATES MERCHANT MARINES until his honorable discharge.
DICK was a walnut log buyer. He farmed in Saylorville for many years before moving to Osceola. He enjoyed raising cattle and being with family and friends. DICK also enjoyed watching western movies.

BURIAL ~ to follow at PINE HILL CEMETERY, Des Moines, Saylor Township, Polk County, Iowa.
VISITATION ~ Friends may visit with family from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of DICK.
