She was born March 4, 1937, in Upshur Co. the daughter of the late James and Freda Halterman Westfall. On Jan 9, 1959, she married James Guy Deane, who preceded her in death on June 4, 1996.
She is survived by two daughters, Robin Deane Hardy and Kelli Lea Simpson, both of Winchester: one son, James G. Deane II of Winchester; four grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Osborne of Winchester and Janet Sebring of North Carolina; and one brother, James Westfall of Florida.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosemary Harris and Pamela Kay Westfall.
Mrs. deane worked for AT&T for 25 years as an intercept computer operator. She was a member of the Winchester Church of God.
Friends will be received from 6pm to 8pm Sunday at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Poling officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Herman Cemetery.
