Born in Marion County, she was a daughter of the late Kinard Cannon and Lottie Turner Cannon. Mrs. Reece was retired from Kent Manufacturing, and was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Durham, and husband, Kenneth, of Pickens; son, Phillip Reece, and wife, Sarah, of Pickens; sisters, Katherine Pace of Marion, S.C., and Peggy Farkas of Henderson, Nevada; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2006, at Oolenoy Baptist Church Cemetery.
