Funeral services for P.E. (Pearl) Mueller, 82, farmer and rancher of Murray, Texas were held 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 29 in Melton Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Breckenridge, Texas, with Rev. W.C. Crawford, Minister of Eastern Hills Methodist Church, and formerly of the Murray United Methodist Church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Ellis Holden, of the Murray Methodist Church.
Burial was in the Breckenridge Cemetery with Melton Funeral Home of Breckenridge in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mueller died 11:45 a.m. Sunday, October 27 in Stephens Memorial Hospital in Breckenridge following a long illness.
He was born September 19, 1892, in the Eolian Community in Stephens County.
He married Aliff Webb of Moran, Texas on December 3, 1927. They resided in the Murray Community in Young County, living there for 47 years.
Two brothers, Marshall and Adolph Mueller preceded him in death.
Survivors included his wife, Aliff of the home; two daughters, Mrs. M.L. (Mayme) Lowrance of Murray, Texas and Mrs. Gene (Wanda) Dozier of Graham, Texas; three grandchildren, Wilma Bryan of Graham, Deborah Delong of Phoenix, Arizona, and Mitchell Dozier of Graham; one great -grandson, Chris Bryan of Graham; ;three sisters, Mrs. Rubye Compton of Moran, Texas; Mrs. Gussie Moore of Cisco, Texas; and Mrs. Clara Trammell Cisco, Texas.
Pallbearers were Ed Karper of Graham, Texas; Alvin Turner of Woodson; Dempsey Singleton of Murray, Texas; Harold Davidson of Olney, Texas; Lydia Moore of Breckenridge, Texas; Clarence Garlitz of Moran, Texas; Harold Loving of Moran, Texas; and Ray Meadows of Breckenridge, Texas.
