HERMISTON — A funeral service for Dawn Marie Fox will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, in the chapel at Burns Mortuary of Hermiston with burial to follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.

Mrs. Fox, 44, of Hermiston, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at her home.

She was born Dec. 1, 1960, at Rupert, Idaho, to James and Anna Meyer Johnson. She was raised and attended schools at The Dalles, Oregon before moving with her parents to Irrigon. She graduated from Riverside High School in 1979 then attended Eastern Oregon College at La Grande for a year.

On July 16, 1982, she married Roy E. Fox at Umatilla. In February 1991 their son Jordon Fox was born. They lived at Umatilla until 1989.

Mrs. Fox was employed as the retail manager at Columbia Crest Winery in Paterson, Wash. for 12 years. In 1999, the family moved to Hermiston. Mrs. Fox worked as a para-educator at West Park Elementary School.

She attended New Hope Community Church in Hermiston.

She loved spending time with her son, Jordan, enjoyed playing Bunco, fishing, water sports, camping, vacationing, cooking, gardening, decorating, and amusement parks.

Survivors include her husband, Roy, and son, Jordon, both of Hermiston; her father, James Johnson and his wife, Mickey, of Hermiston; her mother, Anna Christensen and her husband, James, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; brothers, Johnny Johnson of Portland, and Tracy Johnson of Gresham; sister, Eve Beyers of Umatilla; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Vange John Memorial Hospice, 645 W. Orchard Ave., Hermiston, OR 97838.
