Audrey H. Karcher

Audrey H. Karcher, 82, of 605 St. Mary's Ave., Carey, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2004, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 22, 1921, in Hancock County, to the late Isaac Milton and Christena (Swihart) Hendricks. On July 26, 1941, she married Richard J. Wenzinger. He died Dec. 23, 1977. She then married Ralph S. Karcher June 27, 1981, he survives.

Also surviving are: three sons, John, Tom and Earl Wenzinger, all of Carey; two daughters. Rosemary' "Snip" Dahms of Fremont and Christine Rader of Carey; 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a stepson, Harold Karcher of Richwood, Ohio; two step-daughters. Donna Brown of Findlay and Marilyn Litton of Bowling Green.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.

Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Monday at the Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey, with a Scripture service at 7.45 p.m.
