George was owner of a hotel on Tahiti. He got sick and was sent to hospital in Honolulu where he died. His body was sent back to Michigan for burial.

As far as can be determined he married a Jane Sun and had 2 sons. All efforts to contact them in Tahiti has been fruitless.

If anyone has any information on his relatives there please contact me. The US and French govt's have been of no use.
